Weekend...

Since I was a little nervous about going into labor this weekend with Dr. Pennebaker not on call, I took it easy Friday and Saturday. Other than a manicure/pedicure with Mom, I spent those 2 days on the couch watching football and movies. Then when Sunday rolled around, I couldn't stand it any longer. It was so nice outside so Chris and I went to church, mowed the yard (yes, I was on a riding lawn mower - would you believe nothing happened!?!?!?!), went to housechurch, and walked the neighborhood... Still no baby! Guess Cooper is holding out 'til Wednesday!

Another Doctor's Appointment...

Dr. Pennebaker said we are still making progress... We are in our final week... Looks like Cooper will be here on or before Oct 1st.

Weekend...

We have enjoyed a nice weekend in preparation for Cooper's arrival... Sleep, Rays PeGe, Tech football game (we won!), Eskimos, church, and more rest! It won't be long now!

Our biggest weekend accomplishment...

Installing the infant car seat bases in our cars!!!

We thought we were just going to "practice" so we would know what we were doing at the hospital but after all the effort, reading the owner's manual, and watching the online video tutorial we decided to just leave them in our cars! We sure hope having a baby is easier than this! :)

Doctor's appointment - 37 weeks 5 days...

We had another doctor's appointment today and looks like we are slowly but surely making progress to Cooper's arrival! We will have 1 more appointment next week and then we will be induced on Oct 1st... unless Cooper has other plans! I must say at this point I feel as ready as I will ever be and am hoping he surprises us with an early (and easy) arrival!

FULL MOON...

Well, tonight's a full moon... wonder if anything will happen?!?!?

Still feeling pretty good... Chris & I have both been down with allergy stuff but hopefully its coming to an end. Since my last doctor's appointment I have been having more contractions and have noticed that Cooper is still dropping... everything fits differently now.

We go back to the doctor on Wednesday morning... I'll keep you posted. :)

Neighborhood Baby Shower

The date is set...

We had another good doctor's appointment today...

Cooper's heartbeat is strong (around 130)

and still measuring right on track.

Dr. Pennebaker said he is "hanging low"

and looks like we are already making some progress.

She said if he's not here by Oct 1st,

then we are to be at St. Francis that morning to be induced!

Yea!!!
